The Holiday Bazaar is a Parish Fundraiser held on the first Saturday in November. Volunteers are needed to make crafts, help with youth activities, help with cooking and serving the luncheon, work at the Parish booth, play music, and organize crafters and booth spaces.
Volunteer Appreciation Celebration (Every two years)
Many hands do the work of the Church. Each year we recognize and thank all who help to build God’s kingdom. Helpers are needed for some duties in preparation, and to assist at the celebration itself.
Memorial Day Vehicle Blessing
To get us started on a safe summer season Monsignor Terry blesses the vehicles of those attending Mass on Memorial Day Weekend.
Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service
Enjoy seasonal songs and hymns from the Sparta area churches and our own choir. A collection is taken to benefit the Gas Voucher program through Peace Lutheran Church. The service is held here at Holy Family usually on the Sunday before Thanksgiving at 6:00pm. All are welcome!
Thanksgiving Mass and Slideshow
Together we celebrate the goodness of the Lord at our Mass of Thanksgiving! We ask that you bring a bag of non-perishable food items to be distributed to the local food pantries.
In honor of the Feast of St Francis of Assisi which is October 4th, Msgr. Terry blesses pets of all kinds. The blessing is usually held on the Wednesday before the Feast Day at 5:15pm before our Religious Education classes. Students can then head to class and parents and pets can return home.
