Everyone is invited to tour the Essential Needs Baby Pantry after all Masses on October 3rd and 4th. Enjoy a cookie and learn more about what our baby pantry has to offer those in the community.
Currently, we are serving 22 mothers and 32 children, which equates to approximately $2,200 monthly for basic baby and toddler needs, and these numbers continue to grow.
We recently received a $1,500 grant from Catholic Charities of West Michigan. It is an opportunity for a matching gift challenge for Holy Family.
Every dollar you donate between now and October 31 will be matched dollar-to-dollar, doubling your support for expensive items like cribs, car seats, and other essential needs.
Donation envelopes are available in the wagon in the Narthex, or you can donate online. If you are writing a check or donating online, please write “Baby Pantry” on the memo line.
Our mission has been embraced by the whole community we serve, not only families in need but also caring neighbors who want to help. Support has come from Holy Trinity Church, United Methodist Church, and a donation wagon is currently at Sparta Center Church.
Every Mass we hear in the announcement that your donations are appreciated, and it is true. Mothers are constantly thanking us and sharing how much your generosity is helping their families.

Your kindness and generosity have meant more to me than I can put into words. Thank you for being there for moms and families when they need it most. Programs like this are such a beautiful reflection of God’s love, and I thank God for people who genuinely give their time, hearts, and resources to help. You may not realize how much your kindness means but please know that it has made a real difference in our lives.
Please pray that we are able to sustain that help that is needed and for the children we serve to grow up in safe and nourishing environments.
