40 Days for Life is a pro-life effort that consists of 40 days of praying, fasting, and holding a peaceful vigil in front of an abortion facility. The fall campaign will take place from September 23 through November 1 in front of Planned Parenthood at 425 Cherry Street SE in Grand Rapids. This facility now provides abortions as well as dispensing the abortion pill. Dozens of area churches have adopted a day of prayer, and Holy Family’s day is Tuesday, October 20, 2026 from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. Our goal is to send at least two volunteers to pray during each of the one hour shifts that day.

For those not able to participate in person on October 6th, please set aside a few minutes that day to pray for an end to abortion.
