Relay for Life Bake Sale

Relay for Life Bake Sale- May 20/21, After all Masses 

Support the Holy Family Relay for Life team in their effort to fight cancer by purchasing some homemade baked goods. Puchases benefit the American Cancer Society. Sign-ups will also be taken for the Relay for Life event  held on Sat, June 10th.

Donations for the Relay For Life Silent Auction can be brought to the ministers sacristy– please mark  “Relay”

The American Cancer Society Relay for Life is a 12-hour event that raises funds and awareness to fight cancer. Dedicated teams walk the track throughout that time to remember cancer never sleeps.  All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. At a Relay for Life event, we consider a survivor as anyone who has ever heard the words “you have cancer”. And we invite all cancer survivors in the community to attend as our guests of honor.

THIS YEARS THEME:  “Around the World for a Cure”    Date: June 10
  Holy Family Church will once again have a tent at the local level to help raise funds for this cause. This is a wonderful community and family friendly event to participate in. Our tent will be decorated in the theme:  “The Pacific Islands”

         HOW YOU CAN HELP:

• Be a walker or sponsor a walker: Call the parish office for info or to register 616-887-8222.
  
• May 20/21: Bake Sale at Holy Family Church after Masses. Please help out by making baked goods to sell or be generous in your donation when purchasing.
• June 10: Attend some or all of the annual “RELAY FOR LIFE” event being held at the Sparta Track from Noon to Midnight. Again this year, Holy Family will be selling assorted flavored coffee and breakfast burritos at the Holy Family tent from 7-9a.m.
• Sign up to donate blood for MI Blood banks. -Another way to help the ACS: Through their Summer Step-Up program, the  MI Blood Center will donate $10 for each donation to the June Blood Drive here at Holy Family! Sign up here
