Baptism

Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as children of God. ~ Catechism of the Catholic Church

Baptism incorporates us into the life, death and resurrection of Christ and the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in the world.

Infant/Child Baptism

Baptisms at Holy Family are celebrated on the last Sunday of the month after the 11:00AM Mass.

Parents seeking to bring their child into the family of the Catholic Church are required to participate in Baptism Preparation Classes. The class is scheduled as needed with Deacon Greg Sokolowski.  Sponsors may attend, but it is not required. For more information, or to register for a class, please call the parish office at 616-887-8222.
