UPDATED DIRECTIVES 3/18/20- COMPLETE DETAILS

The Diocese of Grand Rapids has temporarily suspended ALL public Masses and all other liturgical and devotional services, effective immediately, through Palm Sunday, April 5, 2020. With this suspension, all Catholics within the territory of the Diocese of Grand Rapids are granted a dispensation from their obligation of attending Sunday Mass through April 5.

For Holy Family Parish this means:

  • No Weekend or Daily Masses, no Word & Communion Service or Funerals—the church will remain open for personal prayer during Mass and business hours. No communion will be distributed during this prayer time.
  • No devotions: including Adoration, Rosary, Stations of the Cross, Bible Study
  • No meetings, classes or gatherings: Including all Council, Commission, and Committee meetings, Religious Education classes, Fish Fry’s,  Lenten Study on “The Mass”, Choir rehearsal, Book Club, Sandwich Ministry, Cursillo Reunion/Leader Mtgs Knitting Group, Al-Anon.

All Parish events are canceled
