EUCHARIST: Discovering the Mass in the Bible, Thursdays, March 7 –April 11, 7:00-9:00pm—Facilitated by Msgr Terry

Eucharist. The Holy Mass. For “cradle Catholics”, this is often the sacrament they’ve participated in nearly every week of their lives—for some, every day. During Lent we have a wonderful opportunity to have important questions answered. We can be led to discovery and clarity.

I am delighted to have this Lenten season to conduct an in-depth study of the Mass.

We will go back to the Biblical roots of the Eucharist. We will see how this sacrament is deeply rooted in Sacred Scripture. We’ll explore its origins, its foreshadowing in the Old Testament and the essential purpose and reality of Jesus’ words and actions at the Last Supper. It will be a wonderful journey. It will be a wonderful and enriching Lenten practice.

THE FOUR PILLARS OF TRANSFORMATION – Mondays, March 25—April 15, 6:30-8:00pm—Facilitated by Greg Hunt

As Christians we are called to walk the path as taught by Jesus. We are called to change, repent, turn around or transform our hearts and thus our very lives. But how are we to change? What does transformation ask of me? What does it look like in my life?

Join us as we explore the Four Pillars of Transformation: Surrender, Detachment, Compassion and Forgiveness.

We will explore what each pillar calls us to do and ways that we can practice each of them using insights of both ancient and modern contemplative teachers. All are welcome to attend.
