Classes Resume In-Person"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Bishop Walkowiak invites all Catholics who are\u00a0healthy and able to return to Mass this Lent.<\/h4>\n<p>With good results from parishes adhering to the diocesan COVID-19 mitigation\u00a0strategies, Bishop Walkowiak has now ended the dispensation from the<br \/>\nobligation to attend Mass for all Catholics able to return. Individuals with health\u00a0issues or other excusing factors are dispensed until further notice. All baptized<br \/>\nCatholics are reminded of their obligation to keep the Lord\u2019s Day\u00a0Holy.<a href=\"https:\/\/documentcloud.adobe.com\/link\/review?uri=urn:aaid:scds:US:b6b8002d-ac2c-466e-b0d7-374d4b4d524a\" target=\"_blank\"> Bishop\u2019s letter 2-12-1<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Holy Family will continue to observe all safety guidelines that are already in\u00a0place at the parish. These include: Requiring masks to be properly worn inside<br \/>\nat all times, maintaining social distance between households, and using a\u00a0registration\/sign in process to assure seating and aid with contact tracing, and<br \/>\nrequesting that if you&#8217;re feeling sick, you refrain from coming to church until\u00a0feeling better.<\/p>\n<p><em>*Questions you may have:<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>What happens if more people show up than we can accommodate?<\/strong><br \/>\nWe will continue to use sign-ups to help ensure individuals have a seat when coming to<br \/>\nMass. If the faithful make a good faith effort by showing up to Mass only to be turned away<br \/>\ndue to capacity having been reached they are dispensed from their Sunday obligation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Can I fulfill my Sunday Obligation by attending a weekday Mass?<\/strong><br \/>\nA Catholic&#8217;s Sunday obligation may only be fulfilled by attending Mass on Saturday<br \/>\nevening or Sunday. Individuals who are legitimately unable to participate in Mass during<br \/>\nthat period are dispensed from their obligation and not bound to attend on another day of<br \/>\nthe week.<br \/>\nNonetheless, while participation in a weekday Mass cannot fulfill an individual&#8217;s Sunday<br \/>\nobligation, it would be commendable for individuals turned away for capacity reasons to<br \/>\nattend Mass during the week in order to be nourished by the celebration of the Eucharist<br \/>\nin the parish community.<br \/>\n<em>*These and other FAQ&#8217;s can be found on the<a href=\"https:\/\/24558915b0.nxcli.net\/coronavirus-faq\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Diocese of G.R.&#8217;s COVID-19 response page<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800080;\">&#8220;During the season of Lent participation in an additional weekday Mass or\u00a0Adoration is a valuable spiritual practice&#8221;. &#8211; Msgr.
