2025-2026 Religious Education Calendar For 1st-7th Graders<\/a><\/p>\r\n

Start of the School Year Information- 2025-2026<\/a><\/p>\r\n

Welcome to a new school year of learning and growing in FAITH! This year classes for 1st-8th graders are on Wednesday’s from 5:30-7:00pm\u00a0<\/h4>\r\n

A diocesan standard curriculum was approved by Bishop Walkowiak and is now being implemented to incorporate evangelization with catechesis<\/span> in Catholic schools, and in religious education programs like ours in all parishes of the Grand Rapids Diocese.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Three Parts of a Whole<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
The Curriculum Framework is structured to be comprehensive in scope. There are three parts to the diocesan framework:\u00a0Encounter, Grow, and Witness. The Lord longs for each student to\u00a0encounter\u00a0him, to\u00a0grow\u00a0as his disciple, and to serve as a\u00a0witness\u00a0of the Gospel in his\/her family and community.<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Our Religious Education\u00a0program is offered to students in First\u00a0through Eighth Grade.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Time of Sessions<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Grades 1st – 8th: Wednesdays, 5:30 \u2013 7:00 p.m.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Classes begin the week after Labor day through the end of April.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
