The Knights of Columbus Council #10992 is holding their first ever Golf Scramble<\/a> to raise funds for their ongoing financial support of multiple groups and charities in the community.\u00a0 The golf scramble will take place at 9 a.m.<\/strong> on Saturday, August 29, 2026<\/strong> at\u00a0The Pines Golf Course\u00a0<\/strong>located at 5675 Byron Center Ave SW, Wyoming, MI 49519.<\/p>\n

Registration fee is\u00a0$340<\/strong> per team; includes greens fee, cart, and food at the turn. You can find the registration form here.<\/a><\/p>\n

Limited to the first 36 teams to sign up\u00a0and<\/strong> pay. Deadline for payment is August 15th.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

There will also be a 50\/50 (drawn before scramble), Skins ($20 per team, 50% payout, please pay at registration), and Mulligans ($20 per team for 4, please pay at registration). On the day of the event, registration begins at 8 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hole Sponsorships<\/a> for the event are a minimum donation $100.\u00a0<\/strong>Your donation includes a personalized sign to be displayed on one of the 18 tee boxes or by the Registration area. Payments are due by August 14, 2026. You can find the Hole Sponsorship form here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Groups and Charities Supported By The Knights Of Columbus #10992<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Best Prom Ever:<\/strong>\u00a0A spring and fall dance that is held each year for special needs teens and adults.<\/em><\/p>\n

Coats for Kids:<\/strong> Provide warm winter coats for children in need.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Food Pantries:\u00a0<\/strong>Support the Mamrelund and Peace Lutheran food pantries.<\/em><\/p>\n

Seminarians:\u00a0<\/strong>Provide financial support for Seminarians in our area.<\/em><\/p>\n

Knit One, Pray Too:\u00a0<\/strong>Support the Knit One, Pray Too team that makes prayer shawls for those in need.<\/em><\/p>\n

Parish Youth Group:<\/strong> Support our Parish youth group activities for their annual Steubenville Youth conference.<\/em><\/p>\n

Holy Family Essential Needs Baby Pantry: <\/strong>Support for our Parish Baby Pantry which provides for mothers in need.<\/em><\/p>\n

Holy Family Church Bazaar:\u00a0<\/strong>Takes place the first Saturday in November each year.<\/em><\/p>\n

HELP Pregnancy Aid Golf Outing:\u00a0<\/strong>Takes place the Saturday after Mothers Day each year at The Falls at Barber Creek.<\/em><\/p>\n

More than 140 years ago, the Knights were formed as a social safety net for widows and orphans of Connecticut’s large Irish population. From it’s beginning, as a group of concerned men from a small local parish, the Knights have grown into an international presence with well over two million members.
